I went to get the next volume of Durant from the bookshelf last night, when I discovered the page edges were covered with mold!
The rest of the evening was spent frantically, but methodically, removing every book from the wall of bookshelves and inspecting for mold. Fortunately I think we caught it early, but around half of our books were affected.
This picture is of the affected books we separated from the rest so we can dry them out and ultimately freeze and clean them.
