I am dying to know how many jobs have been eliminated by the new automation systems in stores/restaurants the past few years, but I can't find the numbers

I can only find articles outlining small periods of time in specific sectors (like losing ~140,000 retail jobs to self checkout registers between 2017-19). But I bet it's a lot more than people realize
