Yeah - about that “duty” word. As a woman, “duty” usually means something about “roll over and let a man have his way with your body”.

No wonder abusive relationships abound in the religious right, and we are routinely showered with stories of abuse. If either Walsh or Parker had any idea about relationships, they wouldn’t have to trot out this archaic notion of “duty”.

Call it out for what it is - abusiveness cloaked as “love”.
