Half Life 2 came out 20 years ago. I remember that we were 16 when it came out and all of us (me and my friends) had to get new GPUs to play it. Fun times. Oh and Far Cry. We played a lot of Far Cry on our LAN parties.
I don't even remember exactly what kind of hardware I had at that time. I think it was the glorious Athlon XP Barton times still and some ATI Radeon 9000something GPU but I am not sure.
