Q. are the people who complain about the impact of pylons & other infrastructure on tourism, the same people who visit & use canals, rock up to walk round the Ribblehead Viaduct & help maintain old steam railways?

Its yet another case of the British cult of nostalgia... we're fine with new technologies when they're finished & dilapidated, but new technological additions to the landscape (like wind power or pylons)... Oh no, it'll ruin us & our locale!
