I found out the reason why the music store company all of a sudden was able to provide individual harp strings in my harp lesson yesterday.
My harp teacher knows the manager of the music store, and asked him why they were only selling full string sets instead of individual strings. They said they didn't want to anymore, and that people could just keep buying full harp string sets instead ($600 for the set).
