At least with this all happening under Dem leadership and support people can finally see the corruption of not just one but both parties made plain and clear. If under a Trump presidency there would be equal or greater repression but the Dems would be able to more easily play the role of controlled opposition, and this would keep a lot more people under the spell. We need to shatter the perceived legitimacy of the system.
