I get what the Liberals are trying to do with a carbon tax, but I don't think it's going to have the outcome they intend/expect. During a period when a lot of Canadians are struggling to afford groceries, they're introducing a new tax on something non-negotiable (i.e. heating your home) and their suggested mitigation is to spend thousands replacing your furnace with a heat pump.
