Day #7, Poem a Day
A shrouded man outstretched his hand, begging for some water.
Not soul passed by met his eye or recognized their brother.
His brittle nails, chipped and frail, shivered but not from cold.
His shoulders fell, and he bid farewell but not from being old.
No, this man was lost, his life the cost, where man became divided.
O’ brother goodnight, I’ll continue to fight, to build a world united.
