We might not have updated vaccines this fall--not for covid, not for flu. The meeting to decide which strains to target has been cancelled.
All the more reason to wear a mask.
Flu is killing more people--perhaps because of immune systems weakened by covid, perhaps because of more deadly strains, like H5N1, which the US has not been properly tracking or slowing the spread of for years, even before the current disaster in government.
But Covid is still killing even more people (last we heard, when there were ballpark informative statistics).
And a lot of people will continue to just get more and more sick, debilitated, disabled....and then die.
Anyway, it does seem like the plan is to kill as many people as possible, get rid of the surplus* population, replace workers with AI, party on.
* to be clear, no one is "surplus" in my view, but from the perspective of capital, as argued in Health Communism, we are either workers or surplus, depending on how we can be exploited to enrich the rich.
Anyway, again, all the more reason to wear a mask, share a mask.
