Bought a power tool from a local shop instead of Amazon—instant regret. A defective part broke on the first use, and it's easier (and cheaper) to replace it myself than to go through the hassle of warranty. With Amazon, it'd be picked up next day, refunded, or replaced. Amazon’s far from perfect, but as a small business owner, it makes things a lot smoother.
