kumicota :shrazil: (npub10jp…elmz) Twitter is per :back_from_gab: :musashi_berseker: :abigail_williams: :musashi: :benienma: :astolfo: :chloe: 🏆🏆 winner of the Holy Gab War and Holy Poast War (npub172u…2cl7)

-Not profitable

It's a private company; you know this how? And its trajectory? Note also how the ADL promised to play ball, then immediately organized a boycott against it. Legal threats, and perhaps action from Musk is in the works against the ADL which is also on the surface backing off a bit.

Musk does say US revenue took a big hit, but other non/less pozzed parts like Asia are up in revenue. Meanwhile what are its expenses like minus 80% of its workforce?

-Trump not back on

That's not under Musk's control! Trump has his own social network for what it's worth.

-Twitter was only profitable in a year that Trump was on twitter

See above about expenses, and Twitter for a long time had a lot of revenue, billions and billions, its problems were out of control expenses. See also its new value as a corpus for AI training, although Musk is going to be picky about who's allowed to use it.

-Grok is nonsense

Really? It's still in its early days, right? Enough so that Musk is involved in tuning it. Rhetorically I ask, because you've already answered this, how much of "AI" do you not consider to "nonsense?"

Note also Musk's accurate criticism about SF extinctionists running current "AI" and that's motivating a lot of what he does. For example the breach of conduct lawsuit against "Open"AI which just dropped, Musk put 100 million into that effort under terms which were later ignored.

-Bots are running rampant under paid blue checks

This is legit if correct. But I ask, how much do they effect people's timelines? Can people select chronological timelines of those they follow, plus I suppose we can allow Musk and perhaps others to add Tweets to them?

-Want X to become some sort of wallet when that shit isn't needed in the US

As I understand it this sort of thing is sure used a lot in various forms today. Except by entities that are slathering to cancel anyone to the right of Mao, and too many don't care about customer support.

"Musk managed to make it worse than that and he still hasn't built anything good from the purchase."

I keep hearing a ton of anecdotes about it being better, plus seeing Tweets that would have gotten canceled under the pre-Elon regime. For the former everything from it targeting pedos as soon as its old (((head of 'Trust and Safety' was fired, to Japan's timeline getting unpozzed.

Against that, Kevin MacDonald and people adjacent to him got canceled, it's very much a centrist platform. But of course that makes it Literally Worse than Hitler.

Meanwhile how many groups or people got uncanceled or are working in a better environment? The Bablyon Bee which is one of the things which motivated Muck? (((Libs of TikTok)))?

Note also the inestimable value of Musk buying evidence! The Deep State's censorship regime was exposed, and that's the subject of lawsuits today.

Also what's the value of having one of the top social media platforms unpozzed in an election year?
