I'll admit I came to Bitcoin looking for money (for my community/ non-profit project), but it's not that easy. Bitcoin culture has a long history of skepticism, because lots of people have been burned by not being skeptical enough. I came to NOSTR for the zaps. but then I realized that in order to get those, you have to provide the content people want to see --one of the very first posts I saw was Gigi ⚡🧡 (npub1der…xzpc) talking about buying coffee with magical internet money...

but there's nothing easy or free about any of this.

I came for the money. I stayed bc I realized that's not what ANY OF THIS is about. There's something really cool going on here. And I'm still trying to figure out what exactly is MY role.

Soy la... because EVERYONE HERE in the world of Bitcoin is writing, reading, studying in a second language. I wouldn't be the first. But damnit. This is gonna be hard.
