As for replacing Joe, I'm no expert, but it sounds like there are some technical issues with doing this, beyond the fact that we are only a few months from the election itself. Notably, it sounds like our system would prevent us from actually doing this as republicans could contest having anyone else on the ballot that isn't Joe+Kamala. Maybe this isn't true, but even if it wasn't, replacing Joe this late in the game may worry voters more than keeping him in there.
