Playing devil’s advocate however, outside of the few stores and services which accept and denominate in bitcoin, how does someone stop using fiat? For most of my life’s expenses and debts, I’m forced to transact in the currency of the state.
Furthermore, historically, it is the plummeting exchange rate which kills a currency, not the lack of using it in transactions. One could consider many currencies around the world dead already despite their widespread use within the state’s borders.
