I was talking to a friend who is a cis, hetero woman and sometimes the conversation can turn to me being trans.

This particular topic had me segue into how sometimes when a trans person starts hormone therapy, their sexual orientation will change. Not sure if it's the hormones or just the release of a lot of walls and masking that had been put up as safety/coping mechanisms but sometimes that happens.

I told her that hasn't happened to me. In fact, if anything, after starting hormone therapy I am even more repulsed by dudes than I was before.

I was like, "No offense to Jerry (her long time partner) or you as a hetero woman but Imma be straight up honest... dudes are hella gross. They're just... blech.

She responded by giving a pretty heavy sigh then saying in a somewhat defeated tone, "yeah. They are."

I kinda felt like dragging out something I said in a reply the other day:

like, I don't know... let's say your cute, friendly, sane, emotionally available, (did I mention "cute") local lebesian.
