After the hurricane, we had here a lot of branches and twigs fall on the ground.

This organic matter is perfect for the compost pile. It is a source of carbon material that should not go to the landfill.

It is part of my composting routine to harvest it and chop it to make wood chips.

I like to drop this material on the aisles of the vegetable garden or use it as a mulch for the trees.
