What most academics seem to miss is that, for Marx, 'alienation' was not so much a psychological diagnosis as a metaphysical one. It frames his anthropology, but also (and, I think, more importantly) his _eschatology_.
Rothbard saw this. Lindsay sees this. Too few others--including Trueman--seem to see it.
