"content": "Yeah you're not going to get a complex vascular bypass or an open craniotomy done in the back of some van (yet?). What will happen, and is already happening, is a move to 'surgi-centers' where all the work done is bread and butter, minor elective stuff. Of course, these will not be attached to a hospital or an ER. For clinic work it will simply be concierge type medicine. House calls may even come back into vogue.\n\nEverything old is new again",
