Typically Mastodon will be behind a secured server though. Keypairs aren't really like that, and you can easily correct the problem on Mastodon if things do go wrong, whereas on NOSTR you're screwed. The best you can do is revoke and reassign the NIP 05 to a new keypair, which most people won't even notice.
Lack of key rotation is a problem for more reasons than just this. Needs to be a priority.
