I don't think civility gets us much, tolerance even less, if we don't have love.
I mean you can continue to argue against love but I won't argue back because it seems, on its face, that love needs no defense.
Love and hate are not two sides of the same coin. You can't flip love to hate. They come from very different parts of the human psyche.
I also don't think love can be deceived. Infatuation can be. But love has no expectations.
