Reminds of the Prophet’s ﷺ Hadith about how this universe is like a ring in the desert, which is the next sama’ and there are 7 sama’. The ring analogy lends credence to the thought the our universe is like a balloon and all the galaxies lie in a fairly flat plane along the “surface” which is what is expanding. But their epistemology doesn’t give them this information.
