I blame^W credit
npub13n409lc4d9w06xuqurrkkh4mtdzc2afc5m07tkkc26u7p2lcq04qkh3h2h (npub13n4…3h2h) for my ability to be able to diagnose a TLS issue and understand what’s (not) happening more than my employers help desk.
Some try this and some more try that and a little of this worked for other people.
I can show that the failing site is only presenting its own certificate while the working site is presenting its own certificate and the issuer’s certificate.
