I really wish someone would make a countertop grill / panini press that was both easy to clean and also truly non-toxic.

The least problematic options I'm aware of have silicone-type non-stick coatings. These were regarded as safe for a long time but I'm seeing questions and concerns increasingly raised about them now. They make work for your health situation & risk threshold but they don't for mine. 1/n
