Authority is proof to a cult member. Something is true if someone important says it. Therefore, if you want to disprove an idea to a cultist, all you have to do is discredit somebody who said it, or bully them into recanting their statement.
That's not enough for a thinking person. Proof is seeing evidence and making rational conclusions based on it. If you want to disprove an idea to me, you either need to show contrary evidence, or show where the logic was flawed.
You have not done these things.
