Took a little longer than intended, but here's part six in the Clone Wars series. This time I'm looking at the "obfuscated kernel" episode way back in 2011 as well as the role of the Linux kernel in the RHEL 6 time frame. Plus kpatch and ksplice, and Novell (er, SUSE's) first RHEL support offer.
A lot has changed since then, and also very little.
