We help companies adopt location independence as a resilience strategy in some of our work.
One of the things we run up against repeatedly is the lack of digital literacy and fluency in senior managment, which, as a result wants to mentor and work in-person mostly. (See pic. Data source here http://www.wfhresearch.com/)
The ability to “speak digital” and “work out loud” in digital environments is a non-negotiable skill if you are going to work from anywhere.
The big RTO (return to office) push is mostly coming from this age group.
