There was a guy sitting next to me on the airplane last week watching a movie on a foldable phone. This was the first time I had seen one "in the wild” and it was bad.

First, the unfolded screen offered no greater viewing area than a regular fold, since it was widescreen content.

Second, the crease in the screen was glaring and annoying, right through the middle of the frame.

Does anyone actually love these foldable phones?
