UBI, while good, wouldn't address the underlying power dynamics and structural inequalities inherent in capitalist society. It wouldn't alter the relationship between capital and labor. While a UBI may provide individuals with more choices in terms of employment, it doesn't address the systemic coercion and exploitation embedded within capitalist modes of production, where workers are compelled to sell their labor power in exchange for wages in order to survive.
