Toshiro Tokunaga started interning the fall 2022 & worked with us since doing radiation and polarimetry research w my colleague, Jacek Chowdhary, fine-tuning PACE retrievals !HARD!
This young man had amazing fortitude. He was super smart- a Stanford kid doing great things before a cancer diagnosis upended his life. He went back to school at Santa Monica Community College. And poured himself into climate research.
