You don’t have to. You gotta spend dollars anyways right? If you don’t use a credit card, that’s money left on the table. If you wanna spend Bitcoin or physical cash I get it, fuck the man. But if you’re swiping a debit card it makes more sense to swipe a credit card and get 2% Bitcoin back.
Merchants have already included the interchange fees charged by card processors into their prices. You’re paying those fees anytime you make a purchase. Might as well as get some sats back, but that’s just me.
