Monero is just as capable of storing wealth as Bitcoin if not more. There is nothing inherent to monero that makes it not so. The government would love you to believe Monero can't store value. Monero has eternal demand because it does something no other digital asset can do.
Monero has a low inflation rate. Currently 0.86%, same as Bitcoin post halving.
Monero has a lower total circulating supply than Bitcoin until the year 2040.
There is a cost associated with creating new Monero. Nobody can arbitrarily inflate the supply
