Grumble grumble. I was so careful as I measured and checked my work and trimmed the sleeves down … but now the sewing machine is angered. I sat down to lock the new edges together, bonked the needle on the overlock foot, and that’s all she sewed. I changed out the needle but it’s doing that thing where it fumbles the first stitch and locks up on the second. I changed needles and thread, but nope. I’ve taken it apart about five times, lovingly removed lint, discovered and tightened a loose screw, but nope. I’ll go touch grass for a while and take it apart a few more times after sunset.
I’ve been sewing for three years now, and so far I’ve always managed to unfuck the machine, but it’s always such a guess-I’ll-die process for me. Send good vibes please.
