i think i want a new laptop.
wishlist:
* 13-14"
* AMD (not negotiable)
* at least 16 GB RAM
* 1 TB NVMe SSD
* at least 12h battery
* screen with good contrast and 100% sRGB coverage, ideally 120 Hz
* barrel jack for charging, not just USB-C
* at least 3 USB type-A ports
* not black or silver, also no glossy plastic
* keyboard that doesn’t suck ass
* internal speakers that don’t suck ass (if they can’t do bass i’m not interested)
* cooling fans if present must never run faster than 1500 RPM
* no thermal throttling under any circumstances
finding one with good specs is not hard, but finding one that matches the build quality and durability of my current laptop (asus pu551ld with some swapped parts) seems to be extremely difficult
