The thing is, how many times were they going to wheel those aging white rock stars out? Like Aerosmith is still recording hit music.
I like lots of younger artists, but they’re not SuperBowl halftime acts. I just can’t see Billie Eilish or Phoebe Bridgers strutting around midfield shaking it.
I’m no longer in the mix, nor should I be. I’m fine with that.
