npub1mmfwxp0jkw6un7hf75k0p8kpemm4smau2c4m8ea2w7r7v52lhjusx4eknq (npub1mmf…eknq) npub1r4haruqqc6yq9zxz88chd55mpg7pgv3sl72x50fejklpgwv2ngnqhnu0jf (npub1r4h…u0jf) I recently quit alcohol and started to try to eat healthily and lose weight - I am now paying more for food (my grocery bill is the same as it was when I was drinking) due to the healthier stuff (particularly in any form that doesn't require hours of preparation) having a price premium.

On Facebook I am seeing folk (not even always old people!) actively welcoming the return of "austerity foods" we used to eat in the 1970s (the stereotypical "bad British food")
