Imagine being in this house. Ring is going to clip the first 15s of motion out of the alert. You have to wait for your cam to upload to the internet, AWS to process it, then push a notification to your phone, then wait more for it to download as you pull up the app.
This assumes they don't/didn't cut your telco cable or jam 2.4GHz which would render the whole thing useless.
