The one packages is outdated and this up to date. I was able to run Durden with the above on a clean system.
I'm still really new to Guix so I wasn't able to figure out how to add an entry to login manger. I have some configuration for Xarcan as well; it's not included in the above as I was looking for time to debug why it segfaults for me.
The above should allow you to hop in a tty and run: durden
