I despise most of today’s efforts that rather want to make AI pass as a new golden calf, though.
How to identify one from the other? I think that the first approach has proof of work, meaning it’s tested by time. The second approach tends to be ideological (eg, “the era of AI has begun”) and it’s closed to hope and mercy.
