I took a vacation day off from work today. But then my name came up on the free pie giveaway list, so I had to drive in for my free pie! But gas probably cost me $6 and I went in around lunch time, so I had to stop at Casa Latte for a southwest steak wrap which ended up close to $19 after tax and tip, because I also got giant chocolate chip cookie and a coffee to go. So I ended up working half the day and my free pie cost me close to $25. And then my boss gave everyone the afternoon off anyway. But they were impressive pies, not the $3 ones you get at walmart, so maybe it was all worth while!
